current beauty favourites feat. Estee Lauder, Oskia, Sunday Riley & Biologique Recherche Lotion P50
I don't really post monthly favourites on Luxe Life Aspirations as I'm such a creature of habit, not much changes from month to month so instead in today's post, I'm talking all about my current skincare favourites.

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel an indulgent balm like gel to oil hybrid melts into the skin to remove makeup and impurities effortlessly.  Skin is clearer, brighter, soft and supple.

Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion has made a reappearance due to a particularly bad breakout of those stubborn, painful, inflammed areas of under the skin spots.  This stuff works wonders.  With this, they heal in a matter of days rather than over a week and it reduces scarring too restoring calmness and clarity.

Speaking of blemishes, I believe their arrival was brought on by the fact that I hadn't used my HG, beloved Biologique Recherché Lotion P50 in over a month!!!  I've several full rave reviews here. This is the cornerstone of my skincare routine.  Let us never be parted again!

Sunday Riley Good Genes Serum this is my second bottle of this.  So eye watering expensive but I my opinion worth it.   With a potent blend of vitamins and enzymes, this has improved the texture of my skin.  I use this at night to restore radiance and reveal healthy looking, smooth skin.

Lastly, Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+ Global Anti-Aging Wake Up Balm is the perfect makeup base for my skin.  I received this as a press sample but I absolutely love it.  It plumps and restores vitality to my Winter weary skin.  A post facial glow, no massage required.

New Shoes For Spring

Zara Spring Shoes Styled
Spring is definitely in the air and I for one can't help but get excited about warmer weather and new season wardrobe updates.  I'm slowly but surely replacing heavy Winter coats with trench coats lightweight duster coats and blazers, opting for blue over my go-to black jeans and adding more seasonal appropriate options to my shoe game.

These the Zara Flat Leather Shoes With Buckle are the latest addition to my Winter weary wardrobe.  A firm, fun favourite. I'm really loving Zara at the moment.  It's one of my all-time favourite places to shop but they have so many nice pieces right now.  TAKE my money god dammit.  These are 100% leather so super soft and comfortable to wear.  And flat because come on now, who can be bothered to run around town in heels.  I love the nude colour of these.  See my love for neutral shades doesn't just apply to lipstick and nail polish!!!  These look so good paired with a white blouse and rolled up light blue boyfriend jeans.  Add my trusty COS trench coat and nude Whistles clutch and I'm done.  I love how one piece like these shoes can pull an entire outfit together.  It just makes getting ready in the morning that bit easier and allows me to abuse the snooze button for longer.  At €49.95, for real leather, they're not too expensive either.  Also, I think that with the pointy toe and straps you could get away with these for evening wear too.

My new love, these have definitely given me a spring in my step!  Currently on rotation with the Zara coat from this post and a new Spring style staple that will carry me through to Summer.

Banishing Dry Hands with By Terry Baume de Rose Hand Cream

By Terry Baume de Rose Hand Cream Review
Spring may be in the air but unfortunately I suffer from dry hands year round and not just during the colder months so while Winter may be fading into a distant memory, hand care and hand cream is still firmly on the agenda and in my handbag, desk drawer, by the bedside, on the dressing table...  I love, love, love the La Mer one as seen in this post but a new addition to the arsenal is the By Terry Baume de Rose Hand Cream.

While the By Terry Baume de Rose Lip Balm is a skincare stash staple, a holy grail product for me, I had never tried anything else from the line so thought I would try this.  The cream itself is pink, is it weird that I find this and the packaging aesthetically pleasing?  This has transformed my hands.  It has a thick, rich, luxurious balm like consistency and a delicate light rose scent.  The scent lingers and remains strong throughout the day.  The cream itself absorbs into the skin incredibly quickly and is delightfully non greasy.  It doesn't leave any sticky or tacky residue behind.  It packs serious hydration and hands are left velvety soft to touch.

I apply the By Terry Baume de Rose Hand Cream when needed throughout the day for a comforting blanket of instant hydration but also slather on a generous layer before bed and wake to soft, nourished, restored hands in the morning.
