Charlotte Tilbury Take It All Off Genius Eye Makeup Remover Review
After the last post on LLA, where I shared my thoughts on the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Mascara (spoiler, I think that the mascara itself is hashtag MegaMascaraGoals but it disappointingly it smudges on my Summer weather induced shine prone skin...)  So I wanted to share a Charlotte Tilbury product that I totally love - Charlotte Tilbury Take It All Off Genius Eye Makeup Remover.

This is a two-phase oil and water based product.  This dissolves even the most heavy duty and waterproof makeup with ease.  I like that the bottle comes with a pump dispenser.  It's quick, provides the right amount of liquid to soak the cotton wool pad without any waste or mess.  Simply shake the bottle to mix the bi-phase product, place a cotton wool pad over the eyes and hold for a few seconds before gently wiping away to remove all traces of makeup with ease.

Ophthalmologially and dermatalogically tested, this doesn't sting or irritate even the most sensitive skin/eyes.  The water phase is refreshing and means that there is no greasy residue left behind.  Meanwhile, the oil part removes the most stubborn makeup effortlessly without any tugging at the delicate skin around the eyes.  No loss of lashes with this one!  Love, love, love the Charlotte Tilbury Take It All Off Genius Eye Makeup Remover!

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Mascara Review
Negate the need for false lashes and cast aside the eyelash curler with thanks to Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Mascara.

I zig zag/wiggle a thick coat of this through my lashes from root to tip.  This multi-tasking mascara does it all - lengthens, adds volume and keeps a curl with a long-lasting lift.  The rich, pigmented, intense jet black colour, adds definition and doesn't leave my lashes feeling or looking dry and brittle.  Full, fluttering lashes for a quick beauty fix to really widen and open the eyes.  It sounds amazing doesn't it? When I wear this, I get so many compliments and questions as to whether I'm wearing flasies!

Unfortunately, on me at least, it can smudge and transfer on my oily prone skin.  More panda than party proof!  If your skin is more normal/combination this may work better for you.  It is such a shame, I'm a little disappointed because with this on, the tips of my lashes hit the frames of my sun glasses - #MegaMascaraGoals.  To work around this, I wait between applying coats and wear the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Mascara on less humid days, when the weather cools down and my skin that errs on the side of oily is less greasy more glowy.

Slipping Into Topshop Sandals

Thursday, 20 July 2017

Swapping skincare for a style post today and talking - sandals.  Every time I get ready these days, I find myself reaching for my new Toposhop shoes.  The ultimate style update and Summer season staple. These beauties are the Topshop Factor Toe Post Sandal.

The fact that they are flat and made of sturdy, soft, smooth leather means that they are super comfortable to wear (yes, even the toe post!) The fact that they have straps means that they are secure and you can be confident that you sandal won't slide off on the way to work!  I heard that happened to a girl once.  Her shoe went flying, she hobbled/hopped over to it (not wanting to put her bare foot on the cobble stones you see) and some guy got down on one knee to offer it back to her.  Cinderella style...  I digress, whether you are desk bound or beach side the black leather goes with everything and they can be dressed up or down and worn day through to night.  I'm stepping into Summer with this versatile sandal.  Paired with skinny jeans and a blouse or a floaty dress, they pretty much go with everything no matter your style!  I've been wearing these non stop.  Cheating on the Birks!  Wait, are we still wearing these?

I really want these Holiday Cross Strap Leopard Sandals too but they are no almost completely sold out!  If anyone sees these in a UK size 6, holla!
